Although the Drake Passage has the nickname of "one of the most dangerous seas in the world"...it can also be perfectly smooth!! The clip in this video of the rough Drake Passage is from - after seeing this, we were a little bit nervous about how our passage would go. But we were SUPER LUCKY and got the "Drake Lake" instead of the "Drake Shake!!" (The clips shown of us are after we made it through, there's pretty much nothing but water in the Drake Passage, so not very beautiful to look at, but we are SO GRATEFUL for calm seas!! If you're worried about getting seasickness, just know that the seas can be calm sometimes too!
