Parenting is difficult. It doesn't have a manual. It doesn't even really have training. Unlike most jobs, we are left to wing it for the most part, and it's our most important job. Something that's probably underdiscussed is how difficult it can be to navigate this challenging effort with another person. We have to give our partners grace. Remember, we're brand new to this. They don't know what they're doing, they've been parented in a completely different way than you have, and it is impossible not to have some fundamental disagreements in approach. Communicate.
