We have a long way to go, but so thankful we made it here. And so thankful to have such an amazing encourager and adventure partner in Emmy. I recently was feeling a little overwhelmed with everything and Emmy somehow always does such a great job of reminding me that even if we never travel to another country, we've been so blessed to have this little adventure together. We came up with the goal to travel to the 50 states, 14 years ago during our freshman year of college. I never imagined it would lead to this, but I've learned at this point to never doubt a determined Emmy! 🤣 Our roles are: Hud = the dreamer (not that I actually plan on doing the things that I say) Emmy = the doer (she thinks I actually mean what I say and before I know it she has a 10 step plan to make it happen) I can’t help but smile when I see my little buddy in her big backpack walking 2 miles because she doesn't want to be overcharged for a taxi. Eating the finest of instant ramen and oreos while singing the same 3 songs she has been listening to for the past few months. I don't know what I did to deserve you Emmy but I’m so thankful for you and excited for whatever is next
