This metaphor will explain your entire life as a prophet. Because nothing’s wrong with you “bringing the heat” everywhere you go. 🔥 As a prophet you ARE the refiner’s fire. You carry the tongue of fire that brings the heat and refines the silver. Malachi 3:3 says God purifies His people like a refiner purifies silver. And Jeremiah 23:29 says His word is like a fire. And once you understand this metaphor, *everything* about your relationships, assignments, and calling will make sense. So here’s how it goes down … Silver is refined in a crucible over intense heat. The refiner (God) uses that heat to bring the dross—the hidden sin—to the surface. The crucible is the crisis. And you, my friend… are the fire. 🔥 That’s why everywhere you go, things get intense. You walk into churches, ministries, friendships, marriages… You release the word of the Lord… The hidden sin surfaces… And you get blamed for the heat. But when the relationship inevitably cools or ends, it’s not because you did something wrong. Silver actually can’t withstand constant heat. It’s fragile, and would break. So the refiner *turns the heat down* to protect the silver. In other words God removes you to protect the “silver,” not from you… but from the fire you carry. Then He moves you to the next crucible. And the next. And the next. And here’s the beautiful part: The refiner knows the silver is pure when He looks at it and sees His perfect reflection. That’s what God is doing through you: using your tongue of fire to refine the Body of Christ until it reflects Him. Nothing is wrong with you. You are not to blame for the conflict. They are not to blame for needing space.
