I have held off from saying anything about this since 2022, bc I don’t like bragging on myself and I didn’t want to draw unnecessary attention to any of my clients or any of their guests, but I think it’s been long enough to share this story bc it’s a good one… So I’m not usually the “on the dance floor” type of wedding DJ. I have spent 11 years building my “All Love, No Ego” DJ brand on being the DJ that doesn’t steal the spotlight.. but this was a unique emergency situation that required special action from a seasoned Wedding DJ. I’m not going to go into super specific details, but there was a tiny medical emergency happening behind the scenes that required emt’s to enter the event hall and the newlyweds were very horrified that if their guests were to see even a glimpse of the emt’s on site, that they would assume the worst, chaos would ensue, and the party would have ended abruptly. Again as a pro wedding DJ, I was not going to let that happen to my clients’ celebration.. Also, I assure you that everyone was okay, and no one was badly injured or hurt, but it did require immediate medical attention on-site! So anyway, the groom asked me to create a distraction so that the emt’s could get in and out with a stretcher in stealth mode. Scenic_Logan understood the assignment and I sprung into action, bc as a wedding professional with 8 years of experience in the wedding industry at that time, I knew a thing or two about keeping the party going 😎 Naturally, I queued up the one song that I knew without a doubt would get the crowd pumped up and I asked if they would help me in creating a video for or Snapchat (I actually didn’t even have a account back then bc I’m old and a slow learner when it comes to social media), and the wedding guests enthusiastically agreed to help me out. Then I jumped in the center and told them to form a circle around me, and give me 45 seconds of the most intense hype possible.. and we did it! While I was doing all of this the emt’s were able to do their thing without anyone noticing what was happening in the background and it wasn’t until the end that anyone found out. Mission accomplished 🖤😎 P.S. Towards the end of the video you’ll notice that I stopped singing along and that’s bc I got really dizzy really fast and was focusing on not falling down 🤣🤣🤣. Anyway.
