I got a little emotional making this and looking back at the past 12 years together with Emmy. I encourage everyone to use this video to make a 30 second highlight reminiscing about your life. ❤️ "Think of the stories you want to tell someday, then go out and live them." 15 years ago we came up with this quote to be the theme of our life. And although much of the time we have no idea what we're doing, we have lived stories that we are proud to tell. (Hud here) I can't say thank you enough to Em for her unconditional love, encouragement, example of loving God and others. This video is a fun little highlight reel of the best moments of the past 12 years. It doesn't show the stress and uncertainty that 7 years without a home, living on the road traveling to new countries can bring. There were many times where I would feel overwhelmed, financially stressed, exhausted, or hangry. Em was the one constant through it all. She literally carried her own weight. She figured out the most doable and cost effective routes, visas, schedules. All while encouraging me, loving others along the way. If it weren't for Em, I never would have finished this journey. The best part of this journey of traveling to every country is that we've gotten to share it together. Getting stuck by lions while self safari-ing in the Serengeti, Walking across borders into countries we previously didn't know were possible to visit. Diving with bull sharks. Food poisoning in Pakistan. Dancing with the Himba in Namibia. I'm so thankful for the stories together. Also huge thanks to everyone who has been following along on our little journey and sharing our videos with your friends. It's been so cool + humbling to meet people that recognize us while traveling. Your encouragement + comments mean so much to us. We can't wait to share our final journey as we plan to finish visiting every country this January. ❤️🥳
