There have been lots of ups and downs on our travel journey the past 8 years to visit all 50 states and now almost every country. So it's hard to believe we are this close to accomplishing a dream we weren't sure could ever happen! Our final country is Sudan, which we are waiting on until next year due to the war and humanitarian crisis there. What people have experienced there is unimaginable, and we are praying for everyone in and from Sudan. Here are some interesting facts about the continent of Africa! 🤯 With 54 countries and 1.4 billion people, the continent is home to nearly 5x the number of people who live in the USA. It's one of the most diverse areas in the world. With over 3,000 different ethnic groups that speak more than 2,000 different languages. 💫 Much of what makes the news about Africa are the negatives. But Africa is a huge continent full of both luxury and developing areas. There definitely are so many unimaginable, heartbreaking things that people experience. It's hard to even fathom what people go through on a daily basis. But what doesn't always get shared is the incredible stories of people going out of their way to help others around them. We experienced firsthand the joy and generosity of people all across Africa and hope to share more about this incredible continent!
