Replying to You know God called you to stand because of what He named you as a wife 🔥💍🗡️ When He named Eve Adam’s “Ezer” in Genesis 2:18, that means so much more than “helpmeet.” It’s used in the Bible in types of *crisis or warfare when someone’s survival is at stake.* That means when your marriage is at stake, you are called to stand. When your husband’s spiritual survival is at stake, you are called to stand. And if he is mistreating you, dishonoring you, acting in any ungodly way toward you, his soul is in danger! And you are called to stand in the gap before the Lord on his behalf and on behalf of your marriage. But that’s not all. Your name also carries with authority for victory! Ezer means *deliverer* and *protector.* It doesn’t mean “possible deliverer.” Or “one who wars but might not win.” Clearly, we are not our husband’s savior, and the One doing the delivering is God. But God does call us to partner with heaven to war on behalf of our husband and our marriage. And throughout Scripture He only calls his people to wars they are certain to win! The Lord is handing out rulings of victory over even the most hopeless marriages right now!
