Anyone else's husband an "adventure" guy? 🙄🤣 Growing up, I was scared of the dark. In high school, I used to call my little sister at night to walk 30 feet with me from my car to my parents' house. 😲 Then I married Hud and things really changed. Over the past 13 years of marriage, he somehow got this girl who used to be scared of the dark to visit even the world's most dangerous countries and do more adventurous things than I could have ever imagined. What I really appreciate is that he never pushes me to do something I'm not comfortable with. (If anything he tries to talk me out of joining him if I don't feel sure about something.) He's there to hold my hand and encourage me every step of the way. 😱 There are still many things that scare me, some of them are in this video. But through Hud and traveling, I've learned the balance of taking calculated risks while making memories along the way. I've also learned to trust God more - not because the fear went away, but because I've seen how He's walked with me through it.
