⏺️ I have a really hard time showing myself grace: I have developed the ability to show the most beautiful grace for others in my life, but I have to constantly be reminding myself to be kind to myself & remember how God see’s me. The self condemnation can be real & I have to reel myself in- take those thoughts captive. It can feel very difficult sometimes. ⏺️I don’t always wanna read my Bible: when I first got saved - you couldn’t get me out of my Bible, but I then realized it takes discipline & then add some spiritual warfare in there, it’s one heck of a war. On those days, I’ll press play on my Bible app and ask God to help me on the days I’m weak. ⏺️ The pruning phase is hard & it can feel isolating at times: When I first got saved it was so intense. I remember saying “it’s like I don’t even know who I am. It’s like I’m a shell of myself.” And the enemy lovedddd playing on that & isolating me to feel alone. Even though I now know, I’m never alone. ⏺️ I struggle with knowing what to pray sometimes: In my wilderness seasons, I tend to go silent & shut down. And sometimes I just don’t know what to pray. I thought I was the only one until I talked to my other sisters in Christ struggling with the same thing. When I feel like this, I just simply say “thank you Jesus.” I’ve been saved for a little over a year now & I’m learning things every single day. Every season is equipping us for the next. We all fall short & his grace is enough #christianwhistlr
