Like many others, he seems to share the sentiment that schools are not necessarily focused on the right things to support children with conditions most effective for learning. Here he suggests that free play with others, including adults, is a far better way to facilitate learning and curiosity than academic instruction and evaluation. It's long been accepted by many that schools are not actually fostering a true sense of curiosity and a love for learning in our children. Maybe it's time for us to consider the traditional school models and the impact they're having on children.
