Growth will test you in real time. I recently had a business situation with someone I never saw coming, that would have triggered the hell out of the old me — the reactive me. The masculine energy dominant ego-driven, “I’ll show you” OG version of me. But this time? I stayed in my feminine energy. Calm and collected. I responded instead of reacting. And what hit me harder than the situation itself…was the realization it brought….realizing the woman on the other end just hasn’t had her lesson yet. Not from judgment. From recognition. Because I used to be her. Five. Ten. Fifteen years ago. Reacting from anger. Operating from wounded ego. Confusing intensity for strength. Growth isn’t about never getting triggered. It’s about regulating yourself when you are. Pausing BEFORE you do or say something that you can never take back. If you’re in your leadership era… your healed era… your emotionally intelligent era… this one’s for you. Stable. Calm. Feminine power > reactive ego every single time. It will save you from losing money, clients, friendships, relationships — and the pain of not understanding why. Bottom line? I saw in her an old unhealed version of me still fighting for her voice and trying to prove herself, and instead of joining in, I chose better.
