One of our favorite parts of travel is meeting people around the world. We previously only knew some countries through news headlines, but what is so often forgotten are the millions of unbelievably kind and welcoming people who live there. This lady was just one example of countless amazing people we met in Syria who have been through unimaginably difficult things. Many people said seeing tourists gives them hope, and their incredible hearts toward people they don't even know was such an inspiration to us! * We visited Syria last year and made these videos then, but did not post them at the time. We met amazing people and felt safe during our visit. Through these videos, we hope to share about the incredible people of Syria along with the unimaginable difficulties they have faced.
