I learned all the ins and outs of uni, mostly the hard way. So if you’re starting or are in uni, take this advice: • most teachers just don't give full marks... and you just gotta live with that • don't rely on anyone. most of the time, people don't keep their word • actually go to office hours. teachers care way more about it than you think • breaks in between classes are essential • the syllabus in your best friend • Stop rewriting the slides during lectures if the teacher gives you access to them!! Instead - listen to what they are saying & take notes on that • Find out if you're a morning / night person and pick classes accordingly. For me, morning classes were DREADFUL. • If you feel like your degree is not for you - CHANGE IT! Credits are transferable • join clubs to find new hobbies! Hobbies are so important for personal growth (I wish I had got more involved). Uni students and grads, what would you add?
