Eve was formed when Adam was asleep. If your husband has “fallen asleep,” this is your moment. To rise into your most noble assignment: to go to war in the spirit to wake him up and deliver him from his spiritual enemies. This isn’t enabling. It’s your God-given authority as a wife. The clue is how Eve was defined before she was even created. Genesis 2:18: “I will make for him a helpmeet.” Helpmeet is “ezer” in Hebrew. “Kenegdo” means perfectly paired with.
