Everything you need to know about flying on a seaplane in the Maldives 🏝️⬇️ The duration of the ride depends on your resort, some are even accessible by ferries (which is a more affordable option) There is a whole other seaplane terminal but commute from the airport to the seaplane terminal is included in your ticket The plane can only fit around 14 people and there is no AC (if you can, sit by the fan in the front) The best views were in the left side of the plane (single seats) If you get motion sickness, take your pill before the ride so you can enjoy it without puking🤣 Ticket price depends on the season and how far the destination is (our 45 minute journey was around 450 USD one way) Timings and where you land can be unpredictable because it all depends on the weather. We ended up flying to an island nearby and then took a small speed boat to our resort. Make sure you check with your resort before flying to Maldives because some hotel offer better rates for transfers.
