"Keep going. No one else has to believe in your dream. It’s yours for a reason." If you follow us, you know this isn't our normal style content. But we hope to encourage someone who has a dream of their own that may seem a little difficult. There's a quote that says "If people aren’t laughing at your dreams, then your dreams aren’t big enough." When we announced our goal to visit every country, some people asked how we were ever going to do that. And to be honest...some days we didn't believe we could. We didn't have the money or the visas, and we had no idea how involved the planning would be. But for some reason...we felt like we should try. We would just take it a step at a time. We might fail, but what happens if we never try? And now, 197 countries later (and still one more to go!), we are SO grateful that we tried. Not just because of the countries we've been able to visit, but because of the people we've met and what we've learned about ourselves along the way. So even though this isn't the normal type of content we post, we hope this can be an encouragement to someone: If you have a dream, don't let anyone's opinion stop you from pursuing it. Create an intentional plan and start taking small steps toward it. It's not going to be easy, it'll probably take more work than you think, and people might not always understand. Sometimes you might not even understand. But if you feel like it's what you're supposed to do, and are willing to make the sacrifices to achieve that goal, keep pursuing those small steps to make it happen. At least you tried.
