While this is outside my own knowledge base, it does make some logical sense. I now firmly believe that many of the things we struggle with in adulthood come from childhood experiences, so it doesn't seem that crazy to think that addiction follows a similar path. If true, this finding could impact a lot of people today struggling with addiction, as it gives them an explanation for their behavior, and it may give them the opportunity to approach the challenge from a different perspective.
