But here’s the problem: we have a *disorganised and conflicted relationship with walls.* Because we’re also empaths and we don’t actually like walls. We’re naturally wired to walk on them well but when we get off the wall and have to walk among the people we’ve just called out we don’t walk among them with the *proper walls.* Because let’s be real. We know when we’re walking with someone who doesn’t welcome our watchman assignment, but we tend to ignore it. And there’s a reason for that: We crave connection because being a watchman means that most people don’t want us around. 🤷‍♀️😆 So we willingly blind ourselves to what we know to be true about certain rooms or relationships that aren’t open to our gift. All of this is to say that our wiring is beautiful and intentional and comes from God and *also* we have to practice a discipline of walking in a new way so that we’re not only able to walk *on* walls and call out from that place, but also walk among people *with* the proper walls that guard our heart.
