I’m going to tell you how to continue to stand for your marriage even when nothing looks like what God promised. If you’re tempted to give up because everything looks worse instead of better, this is for you. First of all, understand God promises the “impossible.” So you *will* see “giants” standing in the way of your promise. Your job is to see everything that happens… with your “two spies eyes.” You know…the eyes Caleb and Joshua saw through when they went to spy out the promised land. The eyes that allowed them to see that no matter how formidable the giants looked “in real life”… the truth was that they had lost their protection. (Numbers 14:9) The enemy wants you to see with “ten spies eyes.” But if you’re going to partner with the Lord in winning the war *over* the enemy… you must cultivate the discipline of only seeing your marriage problems with your “two spies eyes.” If God has promised you victory If He has promised to restore your marriage pay no attention to how “impossible” it seems or how far away it feels.
