The world of Victorious is officially making a comeback with Hollywood Arts, a brand new spinoff series led by Daniella Monet, who will reprise her iconic role as Trina Vega. The series was originally developed at Nickelodeon but has now been picked up by Netflix, which has ordered 26 episodes set to premiere globally in 2026. In Hollywood Arts, Trina Vega returns to her old performing arts high school as a struggling actress who accidentally becomes a substitute teacher. She quickly finds herself at odds with a new group of talented and ambitious students while helping them discover who they are and what they want to become. The show comes from writers and showrunners Jake Farrow and Samantha Martin. Farrow was a writer and producer on Victorious and Sam and Cat, and also voiced Robbie’s puppet Rex Powers on the original show. The new cast includes Alyssa Miles, Emmy Liu Wang, Peyton Jackson, Erika Swayze, and Martin Kamm, with Yvette Nicole Brown from Community confirmed to guest star. Production began earlier this month in Vancouver, Canada, following the first table read on October 14. Hollywood Arts will be produced by Paramount Television Studios and executive produced by Daniella Monet, Jake Farrow, Samantha Martin, and Jonathan Judge. Although Dan Schneider, creator of Victorious, is not involved, fans are already hoping for cameos from Victoria Justice and Ariana Grande, who played Tori and Cat on the original series.
