Read this 👉 If you have a low credit score, or just starting out, my go-to option is a Secured Credit Card. This is what I started with at my credit union in college. You do have to put a deposit down, but so long as you use the credit card appropriately - you’ll get it back! You want something that you can keep for a LONG time (preferably forever), and having your first credit card be an annual fee card without perks is NOT it. 🫠 If you do not qualify for a secured credit card, then I would look into services like Financial, Inc or that will help increase your score by paying *regular* bills.
