I'm not going to lie - of course there is a bit of apprehension arriving to certain countries. On our Iraq Q&A on Instagram stories right now, one of the most common questions we're being asked is did we feel safe. The answer is yes - we felt safe the entire time. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed - and we met some of the most friendly people in the world! Growing up I never would've imagined being able to visit Baghdad, but being there was a completely different experience. We met so many welcoming people and couldn't believe all we fit into just one day - from the markets, to the historical sites, to the delicious food.
