There’s something about spring in New York City that makes even a rainy walk feel like a scene from a movie. I wasn’t planning to stop—but when I saw the magnolias lining Park Avenue, I had to. Soft pink petals against grey skies, yellow cabs rushing by… it was one of those quiet, cinematic NYC moments that sneak up on you. Fun fact: These magnolias bloom each spring along the Park Avenue Malls, and one of the most stunning stretches is right before Grand Central—brief, beautiful, and wildly underrated. They usually bloom in early spring—briefly but boldly—right before the city fully wakes up for the season. If you’re ever in NYC this time of year, look up.
