Has anyone else felt this way?! Getting emotional thinking back to the memories of our trip! What always comes to mind the most is the people we've met on our journey. I know we say it a lot, but after traveling to 197 countries, we are amazed by the kindness of people in every single country. And we hope to share a different perspective than what might first come to mind when you hear the name of some countries. Just as an example, here’s one story (and there are many more) of the hospitality we experienced in each of the Central Asian countries (+ Pakistan and Afghanistan, which are considered South Asia): - Pakistan: a family invited us to join them for Eid, their biggest holiday - Afghanistan: our car broke down + people drove us 2 hours to Kabul, then paid for our dinner - Uzbekistan: before we even crossed the border, people invited us to their home - Tajikistan: a teenager in the shared taxi shared her food with us - Turkmenistan: workers in a cafe sat with us and told us about their country - Kazakhstan: a random lady walked us the whole way to our AirBnB when we couldn’t find it - Kyrgyzstan: a family went out of their way to help us, then invited us on their family vacation What are some stories of kindness that you've experienced in your travels?!
