The beginning of Cherry Blossom Season is officially upon us in Washington, DC!!! && here’s what you need to know: 🌸 WHAT: The Okame (Taiwan) Cherry Trees are the first type of cherry blossoms that we see each year in the DMV, and they’re already starting to put on a show… 📍 WHERE: It may seem a bit macabre, but the best place to see them is at Capital Hill’s Congressional Cemetery aka “America’s Hippest Cemetery.” ⏰ WHEN: Open daily from 7AM - 7PM. This year, peak bloom will likely occur in the next few days as long as the bloom sticks around with all the wind in the forecast… 📝 DETAILS: The Congressional Cemetery is a 35 acre National Park site and is free and open to the public.
