A high-clearance vehicle is recommended, especially after rain, as the clay soil can get slippery and difficult to drive on. 🏜️ Walking among the Bentonite Hills feels like stepping onto another planet. Out of this world colorful layers of red, gray, and purple clay ripple across the landscape in patterns that look almost unreal. We were the only ones in the area and found ourselves just soaking it in.
