“Bet on yourself and go after it.” Last night I attended a brand dinner and sat across from a beauty editor. I asked them any advice you would give or that you would do anything different in your career. Their response, “Bet on yourself and go after it. Do it.” I took that conversation to heart because I think both personally and professionally I’ve come to a point where I’m reflecting on what I’ve done, things I’m currently working on, where I’d like to be, what I will and won’t tolerate. I am so proud and thankful for the opportunities I’ve had and that I get to have this as a career. As a second gen Latino, the first in my family to graduate college and have a career in this space makes me feel all the things. Take this as your sign and maybe a lil reminder that you’re a baddie!
