Whistlr Business Accounts provide professional tools and features designed for businesses, brands, creators, and organizations who want to leverage Whistlr Network for commercial purposes. Through our partnership with Stripe, Business tier users gain access to comprehensive payment processing, product sales capabilities, and professional features that transform Whistlr into a complete business platform for digital commerce and audience monetization.
Stripe Integration: Global Payment Processing and Commerce Business accounts include full integration with Stripe, the world's leading payment infrastructure platform. This partnership enables sending and receiving payments in 135+ currencies, selling digital products and services, accepting tips and donations, charging for premium content access, showcasing physical products, and processing transactions with enterprise-grade security. All payment processing complies with international financial regulations including PCI DSS, PSD2, and regional payment laws.
Applying for a Business Account requires verification of your business entity and intended use case. Navigate to Account Settings, select "Upgrade to Business," and complete the application providing business information including legal entity name, tax identification number, business type and category, intended use of payment features, and verification documents. Applications are typically reviewed within 2-3 business days, with approval contingent on compliance with Whistlr's business policies and applicable regulations.
Pro vs. Business Tiers: Choosing the Right Level Whistlr offers two professional account tiers. Pro Accounts ($29/month) include enhanced profile features, advanced analytics, priority support, and basic monetization capabilities suitable for individual creators and small businesses. Business Accounts ($99/month) add full Stripe integration, unlimited payment processing, advanced commerce features, team collaboration tools, API access, and dedicated account management for established businesses and high-volume creators.

Business accounts pay only Stripe's standard processing fees (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction in the US, with regional variations). This transparent pricing model ensures that businesses keep more revenue compared to platforms that add additional platform fees or take significant revenue shares. All fees are clearly disclosed before enabling payment features, with no hidden costs or surprise charges.
Setting Up Your Business Account After Business Account approval, complete the Stripe onboarding process to activate payment features. Provide required business information including bank account details for payouts, tax identification for reporting, business verification documents, and compliance certifications. Configure your commerce settings including accepted payment methods, pricing currency, tax collection preferences, and payout schedule. Once setup is complete, payment features activate immediately and you can begin accepting transactions.
